I did it! I told him how I really felt! Well… I sort of told him how I felt. At least I told him that I wanted to move our relationship to the next level. Well… I sort of told him… Ok, ok, I told him I wanted to be bold… with him. I guess that’s still sort of vague but he knew what I meant. At least I think he did. Those kisses certainly felt like he understood what I meant! No more games or hinting around at what we want. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted from me!

Callen certainly had a roller coaster day with Joelle. I told Deeks that our job made it hard to have a personal life but I was really thinking about how difficult it is to have a meaningful relationship with someone you have to lie to every single day. Lies are lies even if they are meant for the greater good… even lies of omission. I hope Callen and Joelle can work it out.

I’m thankful I have a relationship with someone who knows my real name and what I really do for a living. The fact that he has the exact same job and that we’re working together makes it even better. Even if Callen and Joelle work it out, he still can’t tell her about his work because it’s all classified. Deeks and I don’t have to worry about that!

I can’t wait for our ski/snowboarding trip. Me and Deeks and Monty are going to have a wonderful Christmas! Who am I kidding? Considering my history with the holidays, this will be the best Christmas of my life! I’m the one who said I wanted to be bold so I guess that means I need to go Christmas shopping again and return that ‘safe gift’ I bought Deeks already!
