NCISLA Classified Preview: “Command & Control” (S7E4)

NCISLA S7E4 1

Title:  “Command & Control”

Airing:    October 12th

Filming:   August 24-September 2

What CBS is telling us:  “Command & Control” – Callen and Sam are forced to work on their day off when they mysteriously receive a cell phone and the caller threatens the lives of innocent people if they don’t do exactly what he says, on the 150th episode of NCIS: LOS ANGELES, Monday, Oct. 12 (9:59-11:00 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network.

What we think is happening:  Big round number alert and doughnut time:

Callen and Sam are doing the bidding of “The Caller” and with orders not to involve the team.  The rest of the team looks to be a step behind Callen and Sam as well as the mayhem.

‘Command and control’ is a military term.  It is exercising the authority and directing personnel and assets during a mission.

Be on the lookout:

GUEST CAST:

Taylor Nichols as The Caller/Chad Brunson
Nichols is a familiar face to crime drama viewers. He played Reid’s father on Criminal Minds and Tyra’s mother’s abusive boyfriend on Friday Night Lights. He also had guest roles on NCIS’s second episode of Season 9, 24, Medium, CSI, Without a Trace, etc.

Nichols looks like he made friends on the set:

Tom Parker as Lucas Gardner
Guest starred on a number of dramas and comedies as well as working as a travel journalist for the Discovery Channel.

Troy Cephers as LAPD Officer
Cephers’s credits include bailiff, police officer, medic, SWAT leader and guard. The man probably looks great in a uniform.

Caroline O’Donnell as Laura

Maeve O’Donnell as Natasha

I believe these two may be familiar with the show’s lead actor. Caroline O’Donnell appeared in “Wanted” in the bar scene. She’s sharing cocktails with a group of women while Deeks is checking in with Anatoli Kirkin. And Maeve is adorable:

Maximillian Burger as Boy
Child actor.

Stephen Wozniak as Tyler  Brunson
Hmmm… Wozniak is back from “Three Hearts”.  And since his character shares a last name with Taylor Nichols’s character, I’m guessing like the O’Donnells in real life – they’re family.

Written by:  Kyle Harimoto.

Harimoto wrote “Omni”, “Merry Evasion”, “Chernoff, K.” and co-wrote “Three Hearts” (Hi, Tyler Brunson), “Leipei” and “Humbug”.

Directed by Terrence O’Hara.

O’Hara directed “The Only Easy Day”, “Brimstone”, “The Bank Job”, “Borderline”, “Tin Soldiers”, “The Job”, “Backstopped”, “Crimeleon”, “Blye, K. Part 2″, “Sans Voir Part 2″, “End Game”, “Paper Soldiers”, “Descent”, “Ascension”, “Fish Out of Water” and “Blaze of Glory”. O’Hara directed Tuesday’s episode of the mothership.

Insider Intel:  Nothing up this week so far but with this being 150– there should be pieces on Entertainment Tonight or Insider to celebrate the milestone.

Unofficial Surveillance:

I think there may be guns involved in this episode:

And possibly explosions:

You know, a typical Monday night.

A fan took a photo of the O’Donnells in an action scene as well as Sam saving a boy:

Another fan had an explosion in their office parking lot:

Sneak Peek #3:

Not a whole lot of peeking in those sneaks.  Callen and Sam are on their own dealing with a dangerous mad man as Kensi, Deeks, Granger, Eric and Nell try to track them down.

  1. I love how convenient life got with your column. 😄 Everything a fan wants to know about an upcoming episode is here. 2. I just wondered why I don’t get any of the pictures in this column? I get the sneak peak videos, oh I also got the first pic and the one of Taylor Nichols — but the rest just come through with a square and what I guess is a camera looking little icon? Otherwise – thanks!! for the update and shortcuts to the videos, etc. It is great!

    • It usually takes a a few seconds for the photos to load by me – and this column was photo heavy since it was story info light. Could you be slow loading too? Anyway, if you click on the date (1 month ago) for the Instagram photos, you should be taken to the real picture.

      Glad you’re enjoying the preview!

The plot of this episode intrigues me a lot and I can’t wait to see how it will develop.

    • I really thought they’d do a Callen-centric episode for 150 – as they did in 100 – but a team oriented action episode is much more in line with what we’ve had in the prior 149.

    • Thanks, Tess for all the post column updating, truly above and beyond. Besides written by Kyle Harimoto, Terrence O’Hara is directing! Thanks for listing all the episodes he has directed, most if not all are on my favorites to re-watch.. This episode should be epic, not only for the 150 milestone but the writer and directors as well. Getting more and more excited!

  6. Thank you so much for all the wonderful photos, videos, posters, etc. Your time and effort is very much appreciated!!! I know this is a serious episode/story, however, the picture with Sam (LL) holding on to that kid by the bus stop is actually a bit funny; all you see are legs; typical Sam Hanna — getting it done!! Congratulations NCIS LA; 150 episodes — awesome!!

Again, thank you so much; one stop viewing for the fans — wikiDeeks Rocks!!!
