Gayle is a WikiDeeks writer and has the challenging task of penning the "Surf Log" each week. Known as "DensiLand" on Twitter, Instagram, & Tumblr, Gayle obviously "ships" Densi and has sincere love for the entire cast (& crew) of characters.
Wow! This is amazing! As I re-watched the episode last night, some of these same thoughts crossed my mind. I had the distinct feeling that Deeks loves Kensi so much and although he feels the need to protect/shield her, the name Brunson re-appearing reminded him of Angelo and how his feelings for Brunson’s wife was his downfall.
I too loved the entire scene of Deeks cooking a fritata and Kensalina bounding down the stairs. Awesome! A most excellent journal entry, Gayle!
Thanks! I feel like so many of us Deeks/Densi fans were “over the moon” with this glimpse into their outside job life, something we’ve longed for. It was straight out of great fan fiction in my book!
Love reading your surf log each week. I look forward to reading it each week to see what our favorite detective is going to say. You capture his thoughts perfectly. I am one of those many Densi fans that have been waiting for a scene like that between our favorite couple. I felt like it fan fiction coming to life. A dream come true for Densi fans.
I really liked this entry, especially the part where Deeks proves to be still incredulous he’s able to fulfill Kensi. He still can’t believe she wants to share her life with him, so in this episode, to sweep away these terrible doubts, it was crucial that Kensi was finally able to say what she means confessing she has always wanted to have what she’s having with him and feel that way.
I am still amazed we got such a wonderful scene!
It’s still shocking to actually hear Kensi voice her inner-most thoughts. So wonderful she’s now allowed herself to trust the security she has with him.
What I don’t understand is the last time we saw Deeks he was living in an apartment! Did I miss something or is it his mother’s house they were in? Other than that, an excellent moving scene.

Agree completely about it being so delightfully “fan fiction”-like. Such an exciting time to see where this season takes them!

Excellent! I love Dark and Doubting Deeks. I just want to reassure him that he is worthy of my- I mean Kensi’s- love. Great job.
