  1. Wow, I am continuously amazed at the amount of effort you put into this.
just fantastic as always, thank you.

in spite of more Anna ….boo hiss ( have I mentioned that i dislike her? I cant remember if I mentioned it before) . I am looking forward to the episode. It looks like they have Sam and Callen back together. As they belong. I look forward to some great interaction between Kensi and Deeks.
There is a great opportunity for some deep and caring dialogue and heartfelt moments showing the strength of their relationship and I hope the writers don’t let this golden opportunity pass or fly past it. Kensi took a huge leap forward in unwavering commitment to Deeks and their relationship with the internal affairs issue and I would like to see Deeks get the chance to do the same thing here.
looks like Nell is stuck with Anna this week. Maybe with Nell’s driving skill ( or lack there of) there will be an accident and Anna gets ejected…auto accidents happen all the time, here’s hoping…
    Kidding.
looks like they are moving her around trying to find a place she fits.
….maybe as the new burn room attendant ?
    just trying to help.
Looking towards another touching Densi moment, hoping for somthing positive, yay
I would love for her to ask Deeks why all the hospital staff keeps referring to him as her fiance’ and what did she miss? he could tell her he proposed, she already accepted, and that she must have amnesia….. then he could come clean.
    …could be a funny moment.
    just thinking out loud.

    • Thank you!

Last week’s episode was really a wonder of editing because, of course, Daniela Ruah’s scenes were all shot in July. LL Cool J wasn’t available for a number of days but was as key to the episode as Callen, Nell, Granger and Anna.

I do think the program needs characters like Anna, Talia, Nate or Renko when he was alive. Not just to give occasional days off to the regular cast but just to mix things up a little. The preview scene with Anna and Nell – I’d love to see Kensi and Nell in a scene like that. A little variety would be fun.

As for Kensi and Deeks – I’m interested to see where this is going. I keep going back to the line in “The Grey Man” about Kensi wanting Deeks to only see her at her best. That could be a problem if she sticks with that.

      • Tess, I agree and hope Kensi doesn’t push away. she would have to say or do something pretty awful to get Deeks to let her go through this alone. While you go back to “the grey man” and I did as well, I had another flashback.
I am thinking about a couple of FF stories that touch on the topic and have Kensi handling it in dramatically different ways. one is touching and one heat breaking. I believe they are titled ” The Cost of Living This Life” and ” Lies, Deceptions and Broken Hearts”.
Both are great stories that show 2 vastly different ways this could go.
I am worried but hoping for the best.

        • Deeks has never been someone who lets people deal with their problems alone. Helping out Ray, Versey in “Personal”, the Big Brother program, handing his Mom – Deeks is “that guy”.

          • I agree, Deeks would never voluntarily leave, he wants to be there for her.
she would have to push very hard. Possibly saying something hurtful, like lying and telling Deeks that this has made her reevaluate her priorities and that they don’t include him. That she realizes she does not really love him. That is the only way she could get him to leave, by telling him she no longer wants him. It would be crushing.
I do not see it happening, but that is why I guess I am worried, because it would take something so horrible in her behavior to push him away.
I just don’t want to see that and then have an alone Kensi in rehab as well as a dark and depressed Deeks for 3 or 4 episodes until she finally tells him she didnt mean it and did it for his benefit or some such nonsense.
….I guess it is my underlying belief that the showrunners tend to create drama inside the Densi relationship instead of letting them work through it together.
here’s to hoping for an end to that bad habbit….

  2. Thanks for a great preview. This season has been so exciting and whenever I see your preview I remember all the behind the scenes photos. You do a great job of keeping it all straight and putting it together for us.

    • Thank you! The production calendar Rick Tunell puts out every month makes this so much easier to do. The program really does a wonderful job bringing the fan behind the scenes – to their great credit.

  3. I mentioned this before but shouldn’t Kensi have a cast or bandage on her broken leg that was pinned under the helicopter? She has a scar on her neck but a fractured leg is healed but that side is paralyzed? Continuity problem?

    Liked by 1 person

    • Daisy; my take on that is yes she should have a bandage (large by the way) due to her fracture of the right leg; she is having paralysis on her left side due to lack of oxygen to the brain; hence her not being able to squeeze her hand and her thinking she may not walk again which we all know she will!!

    • I don’t know what we are and aren’t seeing. I would think there would be injury or surgery scars and bandages.

    • This episode is a month after the last one. BA sages would probably be Removed as long as she’s not waslking.

  4. I have a question for my fellow wikiDeeks fans; since Daniela had her baby three weeks early, does that mean she’ll come back to work earlier than expected? Don’t get me wrong I wish her and her family all the best; I truly do; I’m just wondering how that works.
Also; someone — sorry can’t remember who mentioned that Callen hadn’t seen Kensi yet in the hospital; if you listen closely to Sam he says to Deeks “your Mom is hilarious; we saw her at the hospital”, the we meaning he and Callen, that’s how I heard it.
A plea — Please, please the powers that be stop making Nell out to be Super Girl! Its just so ridiculous! She belongs in Ops with Eric. She’s developed a bit of an unpleasant attitude. I can’t take any more of her holding her gun yelling “Federal Agents” — Argh!!!!!
Again, great job wikiDeeks, thank you for this forum and site!

    • I think they wrote her out for a particular number of episodes. Scenes for those episodes have already been shot when she went back to work in early July. I do believe she’ll be back fairly soon – they’ll be starting production on episode 11 in a few days.

  5. Thanks for your preview of an episode I’m really looking forward to, because I can’t wait to see Kensi start her rehab and face the many challenges she will surely find on her way.
What I do hope – I know I have already said that but I’m quite obsessed with it – is that she won’t push Deeks away. A certain hesitance and fear for an uncertain complete recovery and moments of pessimism can be realistic and genuine and in character, more than this I hope not.
It would be heartbreaking to see Deeks be rejected after all he’s done and is doing. I would like the understanding between Deeks and Kensi to be: “This is nothing we could foresee, this is nothing we were prepared for, but we are in this together and we’ll face it together, come what may”.

    Liked by 1 person

    • Thank you for your nice words!

I think Kensi’s recovery will be eventually what you think – something hard but something they handle as a couple. Things have been very good for them for a long time. A little struggle in hard times makes sense.

  6. I agree completely. in spite of her Grey Man comments, like Tess eluded to previously, Kensi really does need Deeks. He has already seen her at less than her perky best ( see Afghanistan).
Hopefully by now she realizes he really does love her, all of her, for better or worse, and is not going anywhere. Maybe he can get a chance to tell her that this week
She would have to say and do some pretty mean things to push him into leaving her to do this alone. I really hope the writers don’t go there.

  10. I was so disappointed that 1 month had gone by since last episode. I was so looking for more Densi waking up from coma stuff. The episode was a little disappointing overall, though I was happy to see a little Neric solace. THERE was action, but there was just something missing for me.

  11. I’m going to bite my pride here and ask what does the title of the episode have to do with this particular episode? I just don’t get it. I 1st thought it had to do with what the Gurkha told Deeks but that never came up. I’m a bit confused.
Man if its really obvious I’m going to be really embarrassed!

    • Again, this is just my opinion but the John Martin/Tobin Shaked character was living in LA and as a super (when his skills likely would have led to more opportunities) because his daughter was in LA and he could see that she was safe and doing well. Martin/Shaked’s home was in LA because that’s where his heart (his daughter) was.

  12. Also interesting is that they shot this episode Sept. 12 – 20th; she had her baby 3 weeks early; Labor Day Weekend (how cute is that) Wondering if she’ll return early or keep the original maternity leave schedule. Just wondering.
In my day (yep, my day) there was no such thing as Family Leave Act; or even maternity leave unless you had a letter from your doctor. Love how much things have changed for the better!
