Title:   “All Is Bright”

What CBS is telling us: The team investigates a ransomware attack that takes out the entire power grid for west L.A. and paralyzes the city. Also, as the first holiday season since the death of Sam’s wife approaches, he struggles to find the best way for his family to celebrate, on NCIS: LOS ANGELES.

Sneak Peeks:

Nice to see Nell keeping up Hetty’s tradition of fabulous holiday pins.

Didn’t seen that Hanna-Beale partnership coming but like it a lot.

Possible Sports Related Delays:  CBS has a full doubleheader this Sunday with almost all of the country getting the New England Patriots at Pittsburgh Steelers game but some fans (mostly people in Tennessee and northern California) getting the Tennessee Titans at the San Francisco 49ers.   I will update the start time if there is a delay (there is a planned 9:30PM ET/8:30PM CT start for this episode) in the comments section Sunday night. Other places to find the start time include the show’s official Twitter account (@NCISLA) and CBS’s official twitter account (@CBSTweet).

With the final episode of 2017, here’s wishing everyone who reads these previews every week the happiest of holidays, the most joyous New Year.  The holiday hiatus this year is very short with no episodes (new or reruns) on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.  The program returns with “Under Pressure” on January 7th and the start of my fourth year of WikiDeeks previewing.  Thank you all for making this so much fun – have a great holiday!

  1. Thank you Tess for assembling all this and I really appreciate your efforts in doing these classified previews. I hope you have a wonderful holiday season. I hope this episode is in the spirit of the Christmas episodes from seasons 2-7. I did not watch season 1 so I do not know about that. I truly hope we get some magical Deeks and Kensi in this episode . I was glad to see Eric and Nell in the sneak peek. I , of course, as usual, was not happy to see the signature hands on the hips, and glare from Mosley.

    • Thank you! Except for last year’s episode, which was weak though foretold what was going to happen to Michelle in some ways, I always like the holiday episodes.

I think Mosley was annoyed because they were running on a generator (according to the second sneak preview) that Eric and Nell shorted out. Poor Harley was left to deal with that fall out.

  2. Thanks for all your efforts, Tess! They are much appreciated. ❤ I'm optimistic about this episode for two reasons. One, the Christmas ep! I think TPTB have done a good job more often then a not-so-good-job (looking at you, S8!), so I'm hoping the odds are with us Sunday. Also, I've long wanted some kind of "catastrophe" to actually strike LA and see the team in action working at some kind of disadvantage as a result. I was always thinking about an earthquake, but the loss of the power grid will probably do the trick, especially if it runs into nighttime hours. Ok, I lied, make that three reasons: Deeks on a motorcycle is never hard to look at. Here's hoping he's just as excited as I am!

I look forward to this episode, hoping it will be a great Christmas one. It seems impossible, but time has really flown by and we are almost welcoming the new year.
I wish you all Happy holidays and a very Happy 2018.
May NCIS:LA always be our happy place!
