NCISLA Classified Preview: “Vendetta” (S9E18)

Title:  “Vendetta”
Airing:   April 8th
Filming:  January 23rd to January 31st
What CBS is telling us: Callen and Sam join forces with Anna Kolcheck (Bar Paly) and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF), when Arkady Kolcheck (Vyto Ruginis) warns NCIS that a notorious international weapons dealer has returned to the states. Also, the case requires Eric to go undercover as a bank IT technician, on NCIS: LOS ANGELES.
What we think is happening:  Eric is back in the field as the Kolchecks and the Russian ganster storylines return.

Be on the lookout: GUEST CAST:

Bar Paly as Anastasia “Anna” Kolcheck
Last seen playing video games and kicking butt in “Se Murio El Payaso” earlier this season.

Vyto Ruginis as Arkady Kolcheck
Costas Mandylor as Abram Sokolov
Svetlana Efremova as Vladlena Sokolov
Tembi Locke as Leigha Winters
Rich Ting as Keith
Mark Bloom as Victor
Amy Stewart as Jen
Everyone here is back from “Mountebank” in late October.  Arkady, or course, is a delight.  The Sokolov siblings are the Russian gangster (Abram) and his friend of Arkady/gambling doyenne sister (Vladlena).  Leigha Winters ran the financial firm tending to Abram Sokolov’s money with Keith, Victor and Jen.

Lucas Kerr as ATF Agent Gary Baker
Was Holden Baxter in the season 14 “M.I.A.” episode of NCIS.  Appeared in episodes of Sex and the City, The Bold and the Beautiful, Single Ladies, Rizzoli & Isles, CSI, Days of Our Lives, CSI: Cyber and Chicago PD.

Oscar Best as Elderly Security Guard

Arkady is a delight!

Possible Sports Related Delays:  CBS has the final round of the Masters Tournament tonight. I will update the start time if there is a delay (last year there was a full hour delay) in the comments section Sunday night.  Other places to find the start time include the show’s official Twitter account (@NCISLA) and CBS’s official twitter account (@CBSTweet).

This should be the final delay of the season.  There are no “big ticket” sporting events (football, golf “major” or basketball) for CBS until the summer.

Thanks for doing this. I hope we get some Deeks and Kensi working together in this one as we did in “Mountebank”.

    • Thank you!

I did like that Kensi and Deeks were hyper-competent in that episode. If they’re stuck with smaller parts, at least they were allowed to be their usual smart, good at their jobs selves.

  2. Thanks for your preview.
Looking forward to Arkady, not so much to Anna (never been my favorite character, let’s say I tolerate her as long as she isn’t in more than a couple of episodes per season).
I do hope, as Sassyzazzi, that Deeks and Kensi can work together this week, they are always (and still) amazing as partners.

Arkady is a treasure. I was laughing outloud during that long sneak peek. He’s a gift.

I’m wondering why Kensi and Deeks were coming downstairs without the rest of the team. Does Hetty have them working on something to help with the case?

      Looking forward to the episode.

  3. One quick correction – June Schreiner is not in this episode. She was confused by the episode numbers. She’s in the April 29th episode.

(The line of the night, however is the comment from NCIS: New Orleans’s Rob Kerkovich: “My arms look EXACTLY like this when I’m geared up too.” Well done!)

  5. After a full hour delay last year due to the Masters, no delay tonight:
