This is the toughest poll ever! As much as I wanted to choose “Impact” (my favorite Deeks/ECO episode), I had to go with “Spoils of War”. In this one he thought he’d permanently lost Kensi and in turn ended up momentarily losing himself.
Yep, my almost top choice was him getting left in that chair in Ascension, by the woman he loves and trusts no less, but I too had to pick “Spoils of War.” You could see his entire world just crumble in those few seconds. Great acting in both, and in all of these scenes for that matter- ECO is great at the angst and heartbreak.
