Frustrating Densi Moments! Take our poll!

It’s always at the worst moment. Just when you think things are going to get good between Densi someone always interrupts the wannabe lovers! This time we’d like you to pick the moment that has bugged you the most or has been the most frustrating for you! Take our poll and tell us what you think would have happened if they hadn’t been interrupted!

Thanks to Anonkp for the idea and episode research!

  1. Hmm the whole will they; do they; and being a believer that everything happens eventually – then i hope something happens eventually before any of the two terminates contract with CBS 🙂

  2. Ok – I know most people are going to choose those in Descent & Ascension. Typically I too would have gone with the quick post-kiss departure of Descent. We long waited for Deeks to finally make his move – & just as anticipated, finally hearing/seeing Kensi have to express her true thoughts. But what kind of a cliffhanger would that have been?! We Densi fans have learned not to expect our cake and the ability to eat it too.

The kiss was in the midst of a high-stakes op with too many dangerous players and potential outcomes. They were always going to get interrupted at some point by any number of people. I think we were just happy they got through the kiss. With the motorcycle and car right there, I never had any doubt Kensi would “run”.

So with all that being said, I went with the less expected scene in “Raven & the Swans” where Nell interrupts in the hotel. Why? Yes, they were still undercover/on a case, but there was really nothing going on with the case at that moment. Being in the hotel room (which we presume was already swept for bugs), they had (at Deeks had) dropped his cover. In short, with was just plain fun. They were being them.

Would Kensi have physically harmed Deeks? Quite possibly. Would things have almost instantaneously escalated to a heated moment that one or both only turned overwhelmingly awkward. Yep – that’s the outcome I would have expected. Who would have tried to take a step forward? Who would have blown this off as just there banter in a physical outlet? It was finally just the two of them with virtually nowhere to run. The ways this could have played out are countless.

Except for the earwigs. Blasted! There’s always something isn’t there?! Regardless, do I think Nell still would have interrupted? Absolutely.

  3. After Deeks had told her that his thoughts of her had gotten him through the torture, something had to happen. She would either run or reply to his honesty but of course it didn’t happen because the guys arrived. She had started to take a step toward him and the look of irritation on her face due to being interrupted tells us that she wasn’t going to run and that she had something to say. I wanted her to tell him that what he said was worth a lot and at the very least give him a gentle hug but it seems that those of us who are Densi fans are doomed to be tortured!

  4. I chose the Eric interrupting in The Frozen Lake… But I could have chose the EMT as well. It was such a “focus on what Densi is saying carefully” episode that every single time we got interrupted I was growling LOL.

  5. I have to go with the favorite here. My choice of the end of Ascension has less to do with Densi and more to do with my overwhelming need to see Deeks comforted. Like Kadiedid mentioned, I really wanted someone to hug the poor guy- he was so lost. I’m not sure how it would have played out. Deeks was barely holding himself together and I think an attempt at a hug might have either made him fall apart completely, or been rejected. But at least he would have known that someone had offered it.

I loved reading the reasons for the other choices- there were way to many to choose from!
