This poll brought back so many touching memories of these two together. I could have voted for everyone of them. But my favorite will always be Hetty talking with Deeks at the end of Personal. It was not only great acting by ECO, but it gave us our first glimpse at the depth of his character. Brilliant poll…thanks for the memories.
For me it’s the end of Personal as well. They had him portrayed as the funny guy and then suddenly a little peek behind the mask. For the first time there was the realisation that there is a whole lot more to Deeks then we knew.
I too voted for Personal, although I liked them all for different reasons. For me the exceptions are all the Season Five scenes, where as wonderful as Deeks may have been, I don’t think Hetty was holding up her side of things and offering him as much support as she could have.
I love them all but I loved both of the bar scenes in Hand to Hand and Human Traffic. I adore the idea of this little (but deadly) woman walking into a bar to help Deeks. Deeks is so sad in both scenes and she is there to save the day. I could watch them over and over.
I do love Hetty. There is so much experience to be mined and I love all the nuggets she lets loose. Hetty and Deeks has a special relationship that is different from the others. All of the moments listed bring back memories. My favorite is the most recent moment when Deeks bared his heart and offered to leave NCIS so that Kensi can return. My second fav is the bar scene where he asks Hetty for help. The scene was stunning and very touching. Deeks had noone at LAPD but he knew that he could trust Hetty to have his back…that break in his voice, aack. Great idea for a poll😊😊😊
