Reflections on starting S12
As a new season approaches, and wikiDeeks celebrates 8 years on the web, we asked Eric if he would be kind enough to update us on what’s been happening on the NCIS:LA set. Candid as always, Eric shares his thoughts and feelings about becoming a dad again, being back together with his NCISLA family and the appreciation he has for his fans. wikiDeeks exists as a testimony to the love we share for this character and because of the kindness and respect that Eric always shows his fans. That’s why we keep coming back year after year to celebrate and to show our love and support for this community. I’ve watched the show from the beginning . I am also a really big fan of Dani and her character Kensi . I

Yay!!!! Can’t wait for Season 12 to begin! Excited to get back into the swing of things and be able to escape with my favorite characters! Thank you to Eric for giving some of his time to chat with us!

8 years??! That’s amazing! And great new art!
So far, I’m currently looking forward to the premeire (mainly cuz of TV Line being kind enough to answer a big Hetty question of mine.). (and that’s big because before that, I wasn’t looking forward to it at all.)
Right now, according to BTS info, it might look like the 1st 3 episodes COULD be the remaining S11 episodes we were supposed to get. (I’m just guessing mind you.). We’ll see.
Here’s hoping we’ll actually get news on Deeks M, (and hopefully seeing Hetty treated with the respect she rightfully deserves!)

That is so true Psyched. In these times it is comforting to know there are guys like Eric around, grounded, caring and hard working. Congratulations to Eric on the birth of Winter, a girl couldn’t have a better Daddy.

Maria, just for the record, I heard that they were going to Linda Hunt for her scenes and that she wouldn’t be on the set. I think one of the executive producers made the comment “If the mountain won’t come to Mohammed, Mohammed would go to the mountain” (or however that statement goes).
That said, thanks again to Eric for being the mensch he is and responding to his fans.

Yes, I heard last week from TV Line that that was how she was going to be in the premeire. I meant any hint in future episodes, like, will she be included in that way in the rest of the early episodes? (I think the way they’re doing it is very cool)

Hi wikideeks, welcome back for a ncis la season 12..love The team, I guess we shall see how all the new love interests , and new team members do…I have a questions, read the new TV guide and says eric olson(Deeks) job is in jeopardy for ncis, and Gemmill says Deeks has to take a time out..what does that mean for Deeks on the show..Is he taking an extended time off..I was hoping to see more of kensi and Deeks and their chemistry together, not less..I know things change but I got hooked on show because of them..like I said love them all, but last season I missed seeing them as partners like other seasons..sorry so long, love the info in wikideeks…

Eric may be busy with his production company and may need to take more time for this. But you’re guess is as good as mine as to how long Deeks is written out this season. Hopefully not for long!

Oh dear! Over here in the UK I don’t have quite the same access to NCIS LA news as you do, but I did read some snippets about Deeks job in jeopardy. The feeling I got was that Deeks was finally getting a major storyline and it made me so happy. I’m going to stay optimistic, I think it’s best. Barrett Foa had a 6 week leave of absence and it was very well documented, so hopefully Eric wont be away so long. Wasn’t there a Beale centric episode when Barrett returned? Just have to hope for the best…..always.
