Sneak Peek:
Both scenes have a very emotional Kensi and the CBS behind-the-scenes video and the second sneak peek have about as emotional Nell as we’ve seen in the show’s run.
Possible Sports Related Delays: None planned. Unlike the start of the season, we end on time.
Thank you so much for reading these previews every week. It is so much fun to read the comments and to reply. Love the discussions here with every new episode. Season nine is about four and a half months away. Here’s hoping the cliffhanger is great and your summer is even better!

Tess, thank you so much for doing this all season. I honestly do not know how you keep it all straight, but I sure am glad you do. It is such a great thing to do for the fandom. I anxiously await this episode, I am really glad that EW did that spoiler release on Deeks and Kensi, and I truly hope we end the finale on a somewhat positive note with a somewhat positive message. I will also add shameless begging that you write a hiatus fan fiction for us.

Tess, i agree with all of this…Well said sassy.
And my shameless begging has begun…the begging line form behind me and sassy.
Another wonderful job of putting this all together.
When it come to information, short of it being a Polaroid hidden in someone’s desk drawer…
I have faith you will find it and bring it here. nowhere is safe, you would make a fantastic bounty hunter.
…When it come to tracking things down…Dog got nuthin’ on you….
Thank toy as always.

Thanks for the kind words. I’m looking forward to the finale – the last episode was brutal (so well done but brutal). I’m interested in seeing how things go from here.

Wow! Great preview; lots of goodies to share for the finale. I like Erik Palladino his video is so cute! Love his smile. I’m going to stick with he’s a good guy only because Granger always, always had Sabatinos back; so until I see otherwise, I’ll take my cue from Granger for now. My only angst is seeing (again) Deeks paired with Nell in the field and Nell of course is driving, Ugh! You’ve posted some really great pictures & video we fans appreciate the work that goes into putting all this together for us. We’ll see tomorrow how all this plays out. This is our last Preview for S8; congratulations wikiDeeks for always thinking of the fans and working so hard to give us the best Previews EVER! We are truly grateful!! Cheers S8! Onto S9 in the Fall.

Thanks for your kind words – shooting on Hollywood Boulevard pretty much guaranteed a ton of photos. With social media smart actors like Erik Palladino and LL Cool J – every show should have people that savvy.
I think Deeks teaming up with Nell makes perfect sense. Nell is really emotional in all the clips above. Sending her in the field with Callen, the team leader and someone she really does not have a lot of field experience with could be a recipe for disaster. Nell has worked with Deeks in the past just as Kensi has been paired with Callen when Sam and Deeks were hurt in early season five. Keep everyone in their comfort zone during hard times.
Thanks again – enjoy your summer!

My theory is that Deeks and Kensi know something that the others don’t, as a result of them being the ones who found Michele. And they are paired up with Nell and Callen respectively to prevent the latter two from figuring that out. All while trying to stop Sam from doing anything that would ruin his career. I’m probably completely wrong, but I guess I will find out soon enough.

Thanks for your preview of the finale. I can’t believe another season is almost over and the long hiatus will start.
I want to have faith in the authors about Densi engagement. May this time be a real yes and may the proposal be given the time and a little bit of romanticism it deserves after so much waiting. I’d rather it was Deeks to propose, but after so many months spent wondering how and when the new proposal would take place, I’ll take everything, as long as we see that beautiful season premiere ring on Kensi’s finger! I can’t wait anymore, but I’m afraid we’ll have to wait all the episode and see this long-awaited scene only at the very end… I hope not when the screen fades to black! I wouldn’t forgive the authors if they were so cruel… (but both DR’s and Kousakis’ words made me think the proposal scene will be at the end of the episode). As for Michelle, I hope her story/death will make sense. This is the only thing I hope after last week’s shock. Thanks again, Tess, for all your Season 8 previews. I hope you will have a good summer and hiatus.

Thank you – and you have a great summer/hiatus too!
I think season eight has been incredibly strong. There is really only two episodes I’d classify as average – most have been very good or excellent. I have faith things will end well – or as well as they can after last Sunday’s episode.

To borrow LL Cool J’s words, the only HUGE shockers of the season finale that come to my mind at the moment are: Michelle is not dead and her death in last episode was staged by someone (or herself) for some still unknown purposes (as many fans have supposed over the past days), or looking for revenge and taking things a bit too far, Sam gets killed in the process or makes the sudden and impulsive decision to leave the team and NCIS because he understands he can’t do that job anymore.
Obviously the “shocks” that have to do with Sam (dying or going away) would only take place if LL Cool J was leaving the show and none of the fans knew it yet. Some “hints” would support this theory: in one of the very first interviews before Season 8, when asked about the coming season, LL Cool J teased “somebody’s gonna die” (I don’t think he would know about Michelle’s death so early), then at PaleyFest Gemmill spoke about a “reset” in Season 9 and in a recent interview (I don’t remember when exactly) they said they would lose a “cast member” (I don’t think Aunjaune Ellis can be defined this way). From this perspective, Michelle’s death would be the perfect plot twist to let Sam go away in a way or another.
On the other hand, I think that this kind of news (an actor having other projects and leaving) is more likely to leak than to be kept secret, so maybe it’s not the case at all and my imagination is just running wild (I honestly hope LL Cool J will never leave NCIS:LA).

I agree with your line of thinking.
Sam making the comment that someone was going to die was too early to have any season ending details. in fact I think the original plan was for Hetty to go. LL would never have been as insensitive to imply it was Granger, even if he knew what would happen.
I think Miguel’s health issue saved Hetty, as i feel Linda was planning to leave the show by the end of the season. they did imply it was a main character, and Michelle does not fit that criteria.
even someone like Nate would be a stretch, but at least he was far more involved in the show.
until recently, I never figured for Sam to leave.
I had always guessed…
Hetty in a showdown with the person behind the moles sacrificing herself saving the team
Nate, his reappearance was odd timing to say the least.
Nell, what was she up to with that flash drive anyway…
Eric, he would have a perfect cover, and he has had a few times when he has had odd looks and facial expressions after a conversation once the person turned around…like he was pretending…
Anna…just because I want her gone, no other valid observation…just go away please

I have no idea how you would keep LL’s new project a secret…
it is hard to believe, and if it it true, what a great job.

LL recently tweeted that he would not be doing live concerts anymore, once he has completed those that were already booked. He said he would be concentrating on television. I suppose he could have meant a new project (but why would he keep it under wraps, new projects need all the publicity they can get), but it makes more sense if he means NCISLA and Lip Sync Battle.

I agree,
he is such a fantastic promoter, it would be all over the place.
even if he tried to keep it under wraps, he is such a public figure, I doubt he could.
at least that is my thought.

Happy Mothers Day (US) to everybody.
I hope that Deeks makes it a special day for Roberta and Julia by putting a ring on Kensi’s finger..forever.
A wonderful gift, I think.

Thank you for doing all these previews. I appreciate your work and will miss it over the summer. I have so many thoughts and theories on how it will all play out. I just get the feeling that it is summer will be like the one after Descent where I could not wait for the fall. It will be nice over the summer to watch the episodes with less interruptions and knowing what we now know.
