  1. Thanks for the reminder that this was filmed at the end of S8. Wonder if there’ll be any mention of the disappearance of Mosley and Hidoko?

    • I’m wondering if they’ll play this all as an “off the books” investigation – Deeks is in trouble, everyone helps. Nobody bothers telling anyone in charge since everyone but Deeks are all accessories (he wasn’t arrested when he confessed in front of Hetty, Callen, Sam and likely Nell and Eric on comms).

Looking forward to this – and hopefully the end of the “Internal Affairs” investigation for good. Hetty really threw Deeks under the bus in the season eight three-parter. Callen and Sam were set up, she took what she knew to ruin Deeks.

  2. Thanks for collecting all of this in one place. I am really looking forward to this, I do hope it is the Deeks centric episode , a lot of us were thinking it would be.

    • I’m just hoping this is the beginning of the end (or the end) of the “Internal Affairs” investigation. And I’m really hoping Bates is being set up (again). I’m #RootingForRoger Sunday night.

We’re due for a Deeks episode. We’ve been rightly heavy with Sam dealing with the loss of Michelle and Callen working on the new office chain of command. Week after this is a Kensi-centric episode and I’m sure it will be 100% team in the 200th. This is our fall Deeks-fest.

  3. You do amazing work with these previews Tess, thank you.
I am really looking forward to this episode and I hope it will be a great one. Deeks with Whiting or Bates usually means great acting and great scenes and I believe that it is the case in this episode too. I really like Bates so I am keeping my fingers crossed for the character.

  5. Thank you for the preview. I am cheering for Bates being a good guy.

  6. Thanks for your preview of an episode I have really been looking forward to since they filmed it and we got to know a little more about it.
I have always liked Bates, so I hope his character won’t be ruined for good tonight. The only episode I didn’t like him in was this Season’s premiere, he seemed so out of character and exaggeratedly hateful.
I think Karina Logue has done a great job with Detective Whiting so far, I had honestly hoped she would survive that terrible neck wound and we would see more of her. Now I hope, anyway, this is the end of IA investigation storyline, it has been dragged out enough.
I’m glad this will be a Deeks-centric episode, but I hope not a substitute of the “Deeks M.” episode we have been waiting for years and years. Please, TPTB, keep your promise!

    • Thank you! I’m hoping the Bates in the season opener heard from Callen that Deeks was only back at LAPD temporarily – don’t let him get comfortable.

I’m with you on wanting this to be the end of the Internal Affairs storyline. The “Deeks, M.” storyline I think may be interesting is why he went from being a Public Defender lawyer to being a cop. And I wouldn’t mind seeing Roberta involved in all that.

  7. One bit of morning social media from the program’s Instagram account:

Back later with the start time and anything else the program puts up.

  8. We may be on track for an on-time start in the Eastern (9:30PM) and Central (8:30PM) time zones. More on that when the Chiefs-Cowboys game ends. Last minute social media:
