What a Day! Kensi’s Journal April 28, 2019

Wow, what a day. I certainly didn’t imagine we’d end up in a high-speed pursuit of Anna Kolcheck when I woke up this morning (and what a way to be woken up…Deeks is really taking to married life, and I’m enjoying every minute of it!). Now that Callen thinks the point of Anna’s escape is to find his father, I have to reconsider how far-reaching this plan of hers is. Anna had help, that much is clear. How else could she have found out who Kate Miller really is, not to mention that she was at Alton? And who arranged for her transfer there? I hate to admit it, and I haven’t even said the words to Deeks yet, but I can’t help but think maybe Hetty is involved in some way. She would certainly have the reach and the desire to help bring Callen’s father back. Plus the time to put it all together. I need to run that idea past Deeks tomorrow, see if he thinks it’s worth mentioning to Callen and Sam.

As annoying as he can be, I felt bad for Arkady, knowing Anna was on the run from federal agents who would just as soon shoot her as bring her in alive. Not bad enough to keep from cunningly cuffing him, but still… Rogers was a saint to stay with him. And he really came through for us. Between letting us investigate in the first place to playing big, bad, special prosecutor with Carmona, Rogers was pretty good to work withtoday. I wonder how many times he’s used that “I don’t leave the house without a warrant” line? And I wonder how long it will take for my husband (cue the big, idiotic grin) to filch it?

  Thanks, Sassy! I love hearing your thoughts. And I know so many of us are thinking it (which is why Kensi had to mention it in this entry), but if someone doesn’t wonder out loud about Hetty’s involvement in Anna’s escape in tonight’s ep, even if she ends up having nothing to do with it, I will be very disappointed in all of them!

I literally adore when Kensi refers to Deeks as her “husband” and I wish we could hear it a little more on the show too.
Thanks for this page of Kensi’s journal of an episode I quite enjoyed.

  I totally agree, Cladani, I love having Kensi reference Deeks as her husband and we need to hear her do it on the show. Maybe when they’re in Cuba, hopefully playing a couple on their honeymoon riding around in a convertable? *fingers crossed* Thanks so much for your comments!
