“The panic in her eyes”. This is the best and at the same time the most painful expression to define what we clearly saw in Kensi’s beautiful eyes the moment she realized she couldn’t move her left hand. And how sweet and reassuring Deeks was, trying to comfort her even if I think he was scared too. The only thing I hope is that Kensi will accept Deeks by her side, forgetting for a moment that she had always wanted him to see only the best part of her and allowing him to see her worst if necessary.
Very beautiful entry, thanks a lot.
While it might be a bigger “acting” challenge, I so appreciate what non-verbals can convey so differently than what might be seen as an “easier” tact with common dialogue. This is something I’ve always adored about the character of Kensi – what she says rarely tells the entire story, which is true of most people, I suppose.
Karen, you knew better! It was pretty ease to guess Kensi’s visceral reaction would be to withdraw internally. Now, for how she will work her way back out of that either alone &/or with Deeks! YAY!
Perfection!

Excellent. A very romantic entry. I do hope Kensi doesn’t push him away, but I like how your Deeks anyway is preparing for this moment.
