Time to Commit a Felony? Kensi’s Journal : 11/08/20

My excitement at thinking Nell was calling to say hi was short-lived when she told us about a Russian strategic bomber missingoff the coast.  It was great to have her back, even if only for the day.  It seems like it’s been a long time since the whole gang at work has been together for any real length of time, between Hetty being MIA and Beale and Nell taking leaves.  Fatima and Rountree are good additions to the team, but seeing Nell today makes me realize how much I miss my extended family.

The idea of a hairless Arkady under his clothes still makes me shudder, but the man sure can put away his “wodka.”  Whose idea was it to talk to him at the bar and not the boat shed, anyway?  Then at least we could have plied him with bad coffee instead of most of a bottle of our best vodka.

Watching Deeks as Artie make contact with that Russian agentand mess around with Rountree was probably the highlight of my day (okay, maybe a close second to catching up with Nell).  He definitely gives 100% when he takes on a cover, and it’s never dull.  Speaking of, I think I’ll remind the detective of my intent to commit a felony earlier.  I probably deserve to be handcuffed and whatever else Deeks thinks is necessary…I’m sure that will be the highlight of my night. 😉
