We’ll Come Out Stronger: Kensi’s Journal 11/10/21

If ever there was a night I wish I could be with my husband, it’s tonight.  But ONI is sequestering the entire team until they can individually debrief us about our failure to keep an operative alive.  With Laura’s death, her daughter is all alone, and that’s got to be hitting Deeks hard.  Hell, it’s hitting me hard, on a couple of levels.

I’m sure Callen and Sam will have us looking at this op from every angle, questioning every move and decision that was made (as if they’re not already doing that) to determine what could have been done differently.  Whether or not that would have resulted in a better outcome for Laura, we’ll never know.  But as a team, we’ll come out of this stronger and we won’t make the same mistakes again.
