Who Are you Calling Aunt? Kensi’s Journal 10/9/2022

Even though I was pretty sure her academic advisor would have good things to say about Rosa, it was still nerve-wracking stepping foot into her high school. I wonder if all parents feel at least a little intimidated at these meetings, or is it just because it’s so new to me? Or maybe it’s because I never felt comfortable in my own high school? Whatever, I think next time I’m going to make Deeks go.

While I always prefer to be in the field with Deeks, it is nice to be partnered with one of the newbies occasionally. I know I have a lot of professional wisdom and experience to share, but if Fatima refers to me as an aunt again, I WILL make her walk back to the mission! Lucky for her, Fatima made up for that comment with the way she kicked ass at the diamond brokers. Maybe she doesn’t need me to share my experience after all!
