Ear Plugs, Maybe? Deeks’ Surf Log 3/27/22

Ok, let it go on record that I really hate country music. Hate is maybe too strong a word. I tolerate it because Kensi loves it. But does she realize how silly she sounds when she is yodeling the songs at the top of her lungs? I tried to join in today just to show how embarrassing it is. But on the other hand, she was so joyful. She’s been so sad lately with our inability to have children and the overly complicated process of adopting. But to see her singing with such abandon warmed my heart. I think she’s coming to terms with it all, at least I hope she is. I think once she is holding our first child in her arms, all the months of angst and disappointment will disappear. But in the meantime, I guess I’ll just have to pretend I love her singing and choice of music. Perhaps I should invest in a pair of ear plugs?
