Meaningful Change: Kensi’s Journal 4.10.22

After hearing about what happened to Devin and his sister today, it kind of makes me second guess wanting to bring a child into this world.  But whether we have one of our own or adopt one who’s already here, I hope Deeks and I can at least be good examples of how to treat others.  And how to respond in the face of racism and injustice.  Who knows, maybe our kids can be agents of meaningful change one day.

One thing that is definitely going to change is my willingness to allow my hubby to take “private” pictures if he’s going to bring it up in mixed company.  Not to mention threaten to look at them while we’re at work!  Honestly though, we really should know better than to take pictures on a phone.  I guess I’m getting Deeks a Polaroid camera for Christmas…
