NCISLA Classified Preview: “MWD” (S13E16)
Title: MWD
Airing: April 17th, 2022
Filmed: February 8th – 16th, 2022
What CBS is telling us: NCIS investigates the kidnapping of Master Sergeant Boomer, a military working dog. Also, Sam looks to sell his boat so he can take care of his father who is suffering from Alzheimer’s, on the CBS Original series NCIS: LOS ANGELES.
What we think is happening: The team works to locate a missing military pup, Kilbride’s assistant returns to LA, Callen works with Nate to find some answers regarding his child-spy training, Sam might be selling his boat to take care of his dad, and Deeks might be MIA this week? (We’ve been without Sam/Callen/Kensi at least once each this season, from all available intel, this week might be Deeks’s turn.)

Insider Info
This week (the current week, in April, not filming week) was a busy week for our team – between Paleyfest, the belated episode 300 celebration, and Chris and LL promoting their new co-produced dance show – but no press specific to this episode.

Sneak Peeks:
As I have previously said on some other posts, “It’s not a good thing when Deeks is not included in any of the “NCIS Los Angeles 13×16 MWD sneak peek clips” and even in the pics he is not included in any of them.”
Now we know?

As I said above, I’m not 100% certain he’s completely absent, but given that the other main characters have all had an episode “off” this season, I’m thinking this is the episode for Deeks.
And the last time he wrote an episode, Eric was off the episode before. So I’m thinking this absence could tie into his writing role as well. But since I’ve seen behind-the-scenes evidence of him around set during filming for 13×18 (the one before his episode), I am thinking it just happened a little earlier this time around. But again, a disclaimer – my guesses are just that, guesses, and sometimes can be utterly COMPLETELY wrong! lol
