Thank You for Raising $1100 for Every Day Action!

We are so proud to announce that wikiDeeks readers and staff have joined together to raise $1141 to support Every Day Action! Your donations will help to reallocate unused food from movie and television sets, restaurants, grocery stores and others and provide it to food pantries and to support the vast numbers of people experiencing homelessness and food insecurity. Our heartfelt thanks go out to everyone who has helped, whether it’s by financial contribution, targeted on-line shopping, or just by spreading the word. Together we have made a difference.

The Winners

Congratulations and thanks go to Jolee J., Mallory M., and Robin, our lucky raffle winners. First place winner Jolee is taking home a Season 10 DVD signed by the cast along with an autographed picture of Eric Christian Olsen. She said that she’s “beyond excited.” She entered the raffle because, “I love NCIS:LA and whether I won or not, I could feel good that I contributed to a good cause. Every Day Action lets nothing go to waste.”

Second place winner Mallory said that she entered the raffle because, “I am a huge fan of this show and I fully support this charity. Every Day Action is a wonderful charity organization that supports the communities in need by donating unused food to the most vulnerable communities.” Mallory will receive a signed Season 10 DVD and an autographed picture of Daniela Ruah.

Third place winner Robin will receive a signed Season 10 DVD and a signed picture of Chris O’Donnell. She entered the raffle because she “wanted to support Every Day Action and their generosity.” She said, “As a child, I remember my family not always having enough food to eat. Sometimes we would get help from food banks or my father would bring home scraps from his part time job. It made a huge impact. I love that Every Day Action is able to keep food from being thrown away and help those who need it the most.”

And for the record, one of our winners gave $10, showing that it doesn’t take a huge purchase of raffle tickets to win.

Sharing the Good News

Soon we’ll also mail a packet to Eric Christian Olsen that includes all the personalized notes from those who donated to thank him for his support and inspiration.

We’re Not Done Yet

We will continue to support Every Day Action. And it’s not too late for you to help! Even $10 can make a difference. Donate now and we’ll enter you into a future drawing for cool NCIS:LA prizes. You can do so in honor of Marty Deeks, Eric Christian Olsen, Daniela Ruah or anyone else.
