Peace: Kensi’s Journal 5/7/23

The good news is that Callen didn’t intentionally go all lone wolf on us this time. The bad news is that he was still out of pocket and in danger today. (It’s probably for the best that Sam wasn’t with us.) Ironically, Callen had been willing to accept our help this time, we were just outsmarted. Of course Callen did what he was told; he wanted to find Pembrook and learn what more he could about his past. I’d have done the same thing in Callen’s shoes. Hell, I took my turn as the lone wolf when the truth about my father’s death was dangled in front of me. I just hope Callen was finally able to find some peace with his past, especially as he’s about to start a new chapter of his life with Anna. He deserves it.
