NCISLA Preview: “Blaze of Glory” (S6E19)

“Blaze of Glory”

Airing: March 30th

Filming: February 20th to March 3rd.

What CBS is telling us:  “Blaze of Glory” — When a missile test is hijacked and sent off course, the team searches for the hacking group responsible for the attack with the help of a young computer specialist Hetty brings in to assist the team. Also, Nell sees the bond between the tech guru and Eric and she becomes jealous, on NCIS: LOS ANGELES, Monday, March 30 (9:59-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

What we think is happening: According to John Peter Kousakis on Twitter, there are big boat shed scenes and “historic Los Angeles locations” in the episode. There is also another person we’ve never seen before walking around the Office of Special Projects building. Season six – our classified location is your Los Angeles holiday destination. Deeks is a post-holiday shopper and Kensi knows from Valentine’s Day experience. The two enjoy an undercover bicycle built for two.

He also offers a spoiler about the “Blaze” character:

There were many photos sent out on Twitter with the cast playing with clown figures and puppets – a Sam Hanna horror show!

Video Surveillance:

Is it me or have there been more visitors to the NCIS Office of Special Projects super-secret, classified office this season than to Disneyland? The DoD investigators, Mattias, the FBI guys and their 3-D printers, Julie Chen, Thapa and now Blaze. I guess it is now a stop on the Hollywood Star Tours, between Marilyn Monroe’s old house and the Santa Monica Pier.
Sneak Peek #1:

Do we think the store selling discount St. Patrick’s Day supplies was near the beach or a popular surfing shop?
Sneak Peek #2:

Callen and Sam are back working together and the bantering hasn’t missed a beat.
No episode, new or rerun, next Monday as CBS airs the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship Game. New episode April 13th and then a very few new episodes until the season finale.

  1. Even though this episode doesn’t sound particularly appealing, I still love your previews Tess. And I admit to some curiosity as to what the puppets are all about.

  2. Thanks for the preview. I had forgotten all about the puppets until your article whuch I find intriguing.

  3. Love your previews, Tess!

This article was published in the LA Times today – it talks about the puppet theater (and Sam and Callen being faced with a 12ft clown when they arrive!). It was a great article.
