I don’t know exactly what he’s going to do, but I do know that Deeks is going to make a major change to the backyard while I’m gone. All I want is a cute little bird feeder! Oh well. As long as I get home from Mexico in one piece, I’m sure I won’t hate whatever my husband does to our yard (and if I get home soon enough, maybe I can even stop him).

What I do hate is being on assignment away from Deeks and the rest of our team. It tends to bring back shades of Afghanistan and Colorado, both of which almost ended very badly for me. But at least this time they know where I am even if they’re not the ones backing me up, and I can talk to Deeks a couple of times a day. Speaking of, maybe tonight I can talk him into staying on the phone with me until he falls asleep, so I can drift off to the sound of his nose-whistling…
