Brave New World: Deeks’ Surf Log – 2/27/22

My lady bird just does not appreciate her Party Marty. Although she probably wouldn’t have wanted to know me back then, I have to admit it was fun.  Now, I have no idea what’s going on in social media these days which makes me a pretty boring guy, I guess. Nothing like the ol’ Marty.  Sometimes I long for the Party Hardy Marty days but I wouldn’t give up this life for all the parties in the world.  I’d like to pretend this world doesn’t exist, but Kensi has a point. All children need to be protected. We need to teach our sons AND daughters how to be strong both physically and mentally.  I have a feeling this parenting thing is not going to be easy. Frankly, in today’s world it’s going to be downright hard. But I guess I’m lucky, because I wouldn’t want to step into this brave new world with anyone but Kensi. Somehow, I know we’re going to be ok together.
