Who Am I Kidding? Kensi’s Journal 11/13/22

So it looks like I didn’t need to worry about Deeks critiquing my ideas for fun things to do with Rosa. Fatima was more than willing to take up the mantle, and crushed all of my great plans (what’s wrong with a play and five museums?!). Lucky for me, Fatima came up with the thought to visit all those fun locations using a scavenger hunt. And luckier still, she offered to help me write the clues. Look out Rosa, you’re about to discover that I am the fun parent!

Who am I kidding? I could never win the title of fun parent when Deeks is the dad. Hell, I can’t even compete with my mother-in-law; Rosa’s known her for like 10 minutes and she already can’t wait for more of Grandmama B’s stories. But I would definitely win “most improved.”

The thing is that Fatima didn’t know me when I first started at OSP. She has no idea how much more fun (and funny!) I am now, lol. I’m never going admit that to her, though. And I also won’t tell her that I owe that improvement to Deeks!
