NCISLA Classified Preview: “Dead Stick” (S14E04)

Title: Dead Stick

Airing: October 30th, 2022

Filmed: August 12th – 22nd, 2022

What CBS is telling us: When Aiden Hanna’s plane crashes and he is accused of being at fault for the accident, the NCIS team must investigate to clear his name. Also, Rountree considers how he wants to handle the aftermath of the incident with the LAPD and Sam finds a new caretaker for his father, on the CBS Original series NCIS: LOS ANGELES.

What we think is happening: 3 generations of the Hanna family converge when Aiden is blamed for the crash of his plane. This episode description sounds like a case straight out of our “Grand-mothership” show: JAG. Harmon Rabb and Sarah Mackenzie were often tasked with investigating cases just like this due to Harm’s experience as a naval aviator before becoming a JAG lawyer. Since our team has met both of them previously (as well as their former boss, Admiral Chegwidden), I hope that there is at least a mention!

  1. Interesting. I hadn’t thought ECO was in this one, but it sure looks like him and his brother rescuing someone from a burning car.

    • Are you referring to that last Instagram post? The post was made during the filming of this episode, but the caption says “photo dump” so it is possible it is a collection of photos from different episodes. I probably should have specified that! Whoops!
