NCISLA Classified Preview: “Best Seller” (S14E11)

Title: Best Seller

Airing: January 15th, 2023

**TIMING ALERT** – We are again airing in the 2nd of 3 primetime slots tonight. Check out the episode at 9pm ET/PT instead of 10pm.

Filmed: October 21st – 31st, 2022

What CBS is telling us: When Sam’s friend Tom Olsen finds himself being hunted down by enemies from his past, the NCIS team must find out who is after him, on the CBS Original series NCIS: LOS ANGELES.

What we think is happening: #marriedcouplegoals Getting to see Daniela and Dave acting on screen together finally is exciting! A literal HALF DOZEN recurring stars joins the team in an adventure to keep Sam’s friend Tom safe after he’s attacked. Well, in this case, the team might just be Kensi, Rountree, and Fatima! – this might be a Deeks-less, Callen-less, Sam-less episode! Maybe not, I’ve just not seen any sign of those three so far. Speaking of married couples, has Tom been remarried since the end of season 8? His wife then was Carol, so I’m wondering if Lauren is a new wife, or a sister, or none of the above?

    • Becca,
Not only Deeks is missing but Sam and Callen are not in any of the Sneak Peek Clips for “Best Seller”. Having to miss 4 episodes EACH is having a terrible effect on the episodes. It’s no wonder, except for the crossover event, that Los Angeles viewership is down. Plus, Lance and even Sabatino are not good enough actors to fill in for the other 3 stars for NCIS LA.
I agree that we should have had an EP of Deeks, M. before one with Olsen, T.!

  2. Sarge4501 you are right about the ratings they are horrible this season with good reason. Can’t stand the character of Sabatino just slimy to me. And Lance imho should stick to wrestling cause he can’t act.I really miss the early seasons better writers and better showrunner. Really miss Shane.I am truly afraid that Gemmill had finally killed my favoite show and that this season is it.I really hope im wrong.Between making each actor miss 4 eps and separating Densi even when they were on the same ep was stupid, not to mention the time charge was terrible for the ratings… i hope for ECO next show he is a executive producer so he has some say in how his character is written.

  3. Watching NCIS la now, this would have been the show that you would have all the main characters there..Sam because of being best friends with Tom, kensi and Deeks because it would have been cool to have whole family there..and callen because he is with Sam..disappointing, what they could have done with this episode..they missed something big , in my opinion..
