Once again beautiful. I always wanted to hear his thoughts, but actually reading them bring a different kind of magic in them.
He will surely be affected by her absence. I only hope he realizes that even though she is not there, he is not alone. As Sam pointed out they are all one team and if he ever finds himself at the edge of the cliff called PTSD, I hope he seeks help and courage from them.

This is easily my favorite feature on the website, and this was another perfect entry. I could totally picture the team reacting the way you described, and I loved Deeks remembering what was my favorite moment from The Frozen Lake, when Kensi admitted to their thing. Thank goodness Monty is there. Oh, and the artwork is also just perfect.

I was hoping you would have one of Deeks’ Surf Log’s this week. I was only thinking of it yesterday. I love reading these. They sound just like what Deeks would say, exactly. Reading it makes my heart ache, You can feel the emotion. Love the illustrations too. Well done.

This, even though it is not the real mind of the Marty Deeks, makes me feel a lot better about Tuesdays episode and Densis future. Its good to know, “hypothetically,” that Deeks understands his relationship and that he shouldn’t do anything to screw it up. As the gurka said, “the only way to cross a frozen lake is to take your time and look around.” And while deeks is looking around (eh-hem DEA agent person who resembles kensi lady) he knows the true prize: Kensi! And that is all that matters.
