NCISLA Classified Preview: “Shame” (S14E14)

Title: Shame

Airing: March 5th, 2023

Filmed: December 2022

What CBS is telling us: When a petty officer is found dead with an apparent suicide note, the NCIS team must investigate the mystery surrounding his death. Also, Callen and Anna begin wedding planning and Sam has a heart to heart with his daughter, on the CBS Original series NCIS: LOS ANGELES.

What we think is happening: A string of suicides leads the NCIS crew to begin a murder investigation, Sam and Kam have a chat, and Callen and Anna disagree over wedding plans.

Rosanna Pansino as Wedding Planner
Pansino has a few acting credits including Parks and Recreation and CSI (2011).  She also has appeared in and produced a number of reality cooking/baking series.
If there is a wedding planner, maybe Anna is back.  If she is, Bar Paly is back for the first time since “Flesh & Blood”.

The press release mentions Sam speaking with Kam.  According to Kayla Smith, Kam is back for her first appearance since season 12’s “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You”.

Based on the previews, adding Kavi Ramachandran Ladnier return as NCIS Reserve Agent Shyla Dahr.  Shyla was last seen in “A Long Time Coming” – the NCIS: Los Angeles end of the NCIS-verse crossover event.

Written by: Sam Block & Jamil Akim O’Quinn

This is the first episode as writers for both Sam Block and Jamil Akim O’Quinn.  Since season 13, Sam Block has been an assistant to the executive producer.  Jamil Akim O’Quinn was a writers production assistant in “Of Value” earlier this season.
