And the Winner Is…

Congratulations to wikiDeeks reader, and Pets of the Homeless supporter, Ann K. She has won the drawing for an autographed photo of Eric Christian Olsen from The Thing. 

Thank you Ann, and everyone who has given so far, for helping us support this wonderful charity, which provides food and veterinary services to the pets of homeless people all across the United States and Canada, making their world a little brighter by taking care of the furry friends who provide them with companionship and security. To date we’ve raised $1800, and we couldn’t have done it without your help.

Ann told us, “I just want to say I am so excited and happy to have won the autographed photograph. I really never win anything so this is truly special for me. Wow!

“Pets for the Homeless is a worthy cause. It also reminds us that there is so much we can do even on a daily basis to take care of our world: look out for our neighbor next-door, take small steps to protect the environment, etc. This campaign has been a great reminder to keep our eyes open about what we can do to help. I know I never would’ve heard of Pets for the Homeless had it not been the website having taken inspiration from a television show. That’s pretty incredible when you think about it.

“But honestly the inspiration comes from that amazing couple- Eric and Sarah Olsen. They don’t just play great people on TV- they are great people. They have a tremendous commitment to humanity and it helps us refocus in own lives. What a testament to them.”  Well said, Ann!
