Yup, they only taunt the ones they love, Deeks! G’s a loner and you’ve planted the seed that he can hang with you. Give him time, he’ll come around! And of course he responded to Talia, he’s still a guy😉 Although, you have to give him points for professionalism when the girls stripped and changed right in front of y’all! Hey, maybe that’s why he responded to Talia’s flirting!
Terrific, Gayle. I love these posts, they always sound like Deeks himself😄
Ahh, thank you. The biggest compliment will forever be in capturing “Deeks’ voice”. I appreciated that it seemed Deeks was more uncomfortable than intrigued with the girls changing. It was a true sign of a respectable man who’s off the market!
Thanks for this entry, Gayle, once again a very well-written page of our favorite weekly log!
I think that Talia and Kensi undressing almost in front of Deeks and Callen was a rather weird scene whose purpose I admit I didn’t completely grasp. Was it meant to be funny? Intriguing? Sexy? It beat me, I didn’t understand it.
And it seemed to me that Deeks’s reaction was more for Talia than for Kensi, which I didn’t like much. We know that even if he’s taken and off the market, he’s a man and has eyes, but that scene, for something I can’t quite completely understand, seemed so pointless and was my least favorite this week.
I agree about being at a loss. This is one of those scenes where I wonder what the intent was, because something got missed in the delivery &/or “translation” of how we interpreted it. I suspect it was supposed to be funny, but yes, since the focus seemed to be on Talia, I’m betting that didn’t go over well with the Deeks fans! I also wonder if any potential “consequences” from Kensi might have gotten cut. Can’t wait to see if Karen addresses this in Kensi’s Journal – haha!
