NCISLA Classified Preview: “The Monster” (S9E17)

Title:   “Monster”

Airing:   April 1st
Filming:  January 12th to January 22nd
What CBS is telling us:  While investigating a missing person’s case, the team uncovers a killer who puts on shows for high-paying voyeurs. Also, Mosley assigns Callen as her partner on a joint ATF mission to apprehend someone from her past, on NCIS: LOS ANGELES.
What we think is happening:  Callen gets to spend quality time with Mosley – who looks to be getting some much-needed back-story in this episode – as the team hunts a killer with an old friend from the FBI.

Thanks for assembling so much information and tying it all together for us. It looks like an incredible episode and the sneak peek with ECO showcased his acting abilities, really looking forward to this episode.

  3. Looks like some interesting combinations, partner-wise: Deeks and Hidoko, Kensi and Sam. Glad to see Deeks and Kensi have at least one scene together.

    • I wanted to see Deeks work with Harley. She has been partnered up with Kensi, Sam and worked with Callen and the Wonder Twins. Interested to see this former military person who has sided with the team over Mosley work with the non-NCIS staffer.

  4. Thanks for your preview, this time luckily much was shared when the episode was being filmed.
I really can’t wait to see The monster, basically for two reasons: 1) it’s a Frank Military script (co-written, but anyway I’m sure his “touch” will be evident) 2) the sneak peek with Deeks looked amazing (even if quite scary). Let’s see how the story will unfold. I’m only wondering why Deeks has been paired up with Hidoko and where Kensi might be and doing what.

    • Thank you!

I think Kensi is working the Sam while Callen is working with Mosley. And I’m with you on any Frank Military written or co-written script – always strong hours.

  5. Thanks for the preview. I did not realize how many behind the scenes photos there were. It looks scary and I love Frank Military. I look forward to another strong writer.

  6. Really late addition (sorry, away from the computer all day for Easter – and Happy Easter/Happy Passover to those who celebrate the holidays):
